Who this app is for
V Payment is a private business application for drivers contracted with the participating transportation companies. Driver accounts are created by company administrators; the app is not available for public self-registration.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to show you your work records:
- Account information — your email address and password. Passwords are never stored in readable form; they are cryptographically hashed on our servers.
- Work and earnings information — your trips, mileage, weekly summaries, net pay, and payroll/earnings statements associated with your driver account.
- On-device session data — a secure login token stored in the device's encrypted keystore (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) so you stay signed in.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers for advertising, or any data for marketing or tracking purposes.
How we use your information
- authenticate you and keep you signed in;
- display your trips, mileage, weekly summaries, and earnings;
- generate and let you download/share your own earnings statements.
Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with third parties for advertising. Your data is processed only by the company you drive for (your administrator) and service providers strictly necessary to operate the app — our cloud hosting provider (Railway) and our transactional email provider (Brevo), which sends account and password-reset emails on our behalf.
Data security
- All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- Your session token is stored in the device's hardware-backed secure storage.
- Passwords are hashed; administrative access is protected with rate limiting, CSRF protection, and optional two-factor authentication.
Earnings statements you export
When you export an earnings statement, the file is saved to your device (Downloads folder) and may be shared by you using your device's share options. Files you export and share are under your control.
Data retention
We retain your account and work records for as long as your driver account is active with your company, and as required for the company's payroll and record-keeping obligations.
Your choices and data deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting your company administrator or emailing us at Support@hoplinks.net. Because your records may be tied to your company's payroll obligations, some information may be retained as required by law even after an account is closed.
Children's privacy
V Payment is intended for use by adult drivers (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
